1. About these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PaymentsAI website at ai.payship.io, the PaymentsAI app and the related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by PaymentsAI Technologies S.r.l., Via Placeholder 1, 20121 Milano (MI), Italy, REA MI-0000000, VAT IT00000000000 (“PaymentsAI”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Preview status and test funds
Features may change, be limited or be withdrawn while the Service is in preview. We may reset preview data, including plans and balances, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. What PaymentsAI does
PaymentsAI is an AI-assisted travel agent. On your instructions it searches travel inventory, proposes trip packages, fills booking forms with the details you saved, holds bookings up to the payment step and, once you confirm, pays for them with your PaymentsAI card.
We are not the airline, rail operator, bus company, hotel, rental company, restaurant, mobile operator or tour operator (each a “Provider”). Your contract for each travel service is with the relevant Provider and is subject to its own terms, fare rules and policies, which we show or link where available. PaymentsAI acts on your behalf to place the booking.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure; anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.
- The information you provide — including traveler names, dates of birth, contact and document details — must be accurate and match the travelers' travel documents. Providers may refuse service or charge fees for incorrect details.
- You may add other travelers only if you are authorised to share their details and book on their behalf.
5. AI suggestions
Plans, summaries, destination notes and recommendations are generated with the help of AI models. They can be incomplete or wrong. Before you pay, check the essentials shown to you — names, dates, times, stations or airports, prices and cancellation terms. Entry requirements, visas, health and safety rules are your responsibility; please check official sources.
Nothing is booked or paid until you confirm. When you confirm, you authorise us to complete the bookings shown on the confirmation screen at the final total shown.
6. Prices, price changes and payment
- Prices come from Providers and may change until a booking is completed. If a Provider's final price differs from the price you saw, we show the previous and the new price and ask you to accept it or continue without that item.
- The final total for a trip is shown before you pay and includes the taxes and fees reported by Providers. Some Providers may charge local fees on site (for example city taxes); we show these where we know them.
- Payments are made with the PaymentsAI card from your balance. Card services are provided by regulated partners and are subject to their terms. PaymentsAI is not a bank.
- Prices may be shown in your preferred currency as an estimate; the Provider may charge in its own currency.
- If one part of a trip can't be confirmed, you are not charged for that part.
7. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Changes and cancellations are governed by each Provider's rules, which we show before booking where available. Where a booking is refundable, refunds are issued by the Provider and returned to the card used. If a Provider cancels or changes your booking, your rights against the Provider (for example under EU passenger rights rules) are not affected by these Terms.
Package travel: where the Service combines travel services in a way that qualifies as a package or linked travel arrangement under applicable law, we will provide the information and protection the law requires.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for fraudulent, speculative or false bookings, or to resell inventory;
- scrape, reverse engineer or overload the Service, or interfere with its security;
- attempt to make the AI disclose other users' data, bypass safeguards or produce unlawful content;
- use another person's details or payment means without permission.
We may suspend or limit accounts that break these rules or put users, Providers or the Service at risk.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and brand, belongs to PaymentsAI or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own travel. Content you provide (such as trip descriptions) remains yours; you give us the rights needed to operate the Service with it.
10. Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of Providers, for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to PaymentsAI in that period and €100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@payship.io. Bookings already made continue under the Providers' terms. We may end or suspend the Service, or your access, with reasonable notice — or immediately where required by law or to prevent harm.
12. Changes to these terms, law and disputes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect. The Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, and disputes are subject to the courts of Milan, Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules and courts of your country of residence.
